This lovely Aura point has a faceted point at the tip, and a rough base. The surface has a beautiful rainbow coating over the frosted white/clear surface that flashes when you turn it in the light. The back and sides are a semi-rough, frosted white color while the polished front "window" is a clear, sparkling window into the interior.  Very very pretty and a wonderful everyday stone that you use exactly as regular quartz.  Seer stone is especially suited for gazing, meditation and scrying.
