As they naturally died off, their skeletons were replaced with silica minerals from the ocean and they hardened into a fossilized record. These stones have been created from that process and they carry the star or branch like designs of the original corals in earth tone color combinations of white, brown, peach, tan, grey, pink, orange and/or cream. Each stone is shaped like a pillow and smooth and shiny for the most part.
