You are buying ONE (1) Collector Quality, VESUVIANITE TUMBLED STONE Size XL that are is from the same lot of stones pictured.  This is an exceptional and RARELY AVAILABLE lot of gorgeous, gemmy Green Vesuvianite that has a very uplifting and positive energy!  They are simply beyond beautiful! These are beautiful, mottled green stones are extra large, chunky and a generous size for medicine bags, jewelry and healing grids.  They have a smooth feel in the hand and are beautifully polished.  The color is medium jade green with interesting green mottled designs.  Very unusual.  

Known variously as Californite, California Jade and Idocrase, it is truly Vesuvianite, which was first discovered near Mt. Vesuvius in Italy.  It is also found in Canada, Russia, California USA and Tanzania.  Each area has its own color and formations depending on the geology.  This particular type is not Jade but is often mistaken for Jade and thus the name "California Jade" has stuck.

Notes From My Professional Experience
From a metaphysical point of view, Vesuvianite is a healer's Treasure Stone.  It is famous for dispelling negative thoughts and emotions (anger, frustration, fear, depression, self criticism and insecurity).  I like to use it at the heart center where emotions reside.  It encourages loyalty and cooperation, security, courage and a calm demeanor. It can be used for meditation, sleep or even hypnosis. It is one of the very best stones for MAJOR LIFE CHANGES like moving to a new area, changes in career or relationship and making lifestyle changes in favor of better health, both mental and physical.  It can help facilitate the changes necessary, though they may be difficult.  So in effect, it aligns one's heart and mind together in order to make the change real and possible.

It is also an excellent ally for those in past life work or other transformational therapies. Keep it on your person and put a larger specimen by the bedside or under the pillow to work on the unconscious mind and dream state. 

Personally, I think it's very powerful in a room grid or healing layout. It is strong enough to anchor the center of any grid.  Pair it with Rose Quartz, Clear Quartz, Danburite.
