These are polished smooth and shiny (all natural too!) Each piece shows off rods, clumps, needles or veins of pure Black Tourmaline embedded naturally inside the quartz so they are very pretty and each one is unique and VERY hard to find in this size. Their shape is organically rounded and the edges are smooth.

Notes From My Professional Experience
In my healing practice, I find Tourmalinated Quartz is one of the more powerful balancing stones and I love to use it in Feng Shui applications. One can be placed in each area of the bagua to pull them together and is wonderful paired with Selenite. As its colors indicate, it is used to harmonize polarities, so this is the stone to use when transforming negative energies into positive ones. It resonnates with the energies of the I Ching and Chinese medicine so is a very good compliment to learning or practicing these arts.

Mental/Emotional: For the thought process, use it to transform negativity into positive action, thoughts, emotions.
