If you have "Citrine Lust" as I do, satisfy your craving with this stunning "Fire & Ice" GEM CITRINE Quartz Point Half Polished Generator Point that is pictured. This is a gorgeous and sparkling, 6-sided tower of Solar Crystal Energy & Power. So sparkly and pretty! It has been artfully cut and polished from a much larger block of Citrine Quartz stone into a point shape that stands up on its own. So it is perfect for display.
Size: 3" height
Weight: 327 gm
Color: Golden, orange, clear
This beauty is known as "Fire & Ice" because of its rainbows, sparkling crystalline internal structures, ice-like clear and white quartz, and brilliant color. Please remember that monitor settings differ so depending on the monitor and light source you hold it up to, the color can differ slightly. Citrine is a member of the Quartz family and like its cousin, Amethyst is often naturally combined with Clear Quartz which gives it extra sparkle and fire. This type has been gently heated to enhance the color but no dyes were used. See the article at the end of this listing for more information on this process.
This wonderful Citrine Tower could be an incredible focal point on a meditation altar, in a healing grid or medicine wheel, or as a "cure" for Feng Shui in the Wealth & Prosperity section. Citrine is well known for bringing wealth, health, and prosperity so it can be used every day for multiple physical, mental, and spiritual benefits. However you choose to use it, this lovely point will give you years of use and an uplifting feeling. Very pretty and a lifetime treasure.
Notes From My Professional Experience
In my healing practice, I use Citrine as one of the Essential Eleven stones on a daily basis, primarily for abundance, success, and overall positive energy. It is one of the premier stones when one must energize, heal and recharge on any level. Emotionally and physically it has an immediate and powerful effect to uplift and bring light into the aura. It is frequently used in Feng Shui (wealth corner), in the meditation space (on an altar), and at places of business (in safes, cash registers, or cash boxes).
WHAT IS "NATURAL" CITRINE? The Backstory.
The listing here is the most common type of Citrine, gently heat treated. 95% of all Citrine sold in the commercial market is this type and it is metaphysically very potent. But it's somewhat confusing if this is a new area for you. Many people email me and want to know if the Citrine I sell is "natural" or "heat-treated". That depends on the type of stone and its source. Most Citrine IS heat treated Amethyst (a member of the Quartz family) and that is the most common type of all Citrine sold today. In fact, that is the only way that Citrine geodes and most rough specimens are created. That is also true of Citrine "points" or "roots" which often have a tooth-type appearance with gold in the center and/or top with a white type "root." That again is heat-treated Amethyst. There is nothing wrong with that as long as you are informed as to what you are buying. And here is why...
"Citrine" so named IS Amethyst is heat treated. Now that is not different really from what the earth already does, it creates the crystals, their colors, and formations with HEAT as well as pressure to make them. If you heat up Amethyst (which belongs to the Quartz Family), it turns into a lovely golden color and that is how Citrine is born. There is nothing wrong with it, it does have a different energy than Amethyst, but it is transformed into something new, and that something new is called Citrine.
Virtually ALL respected metaphysical healers (including Melody and Judy Hall) use and describe heat-treated Amethyst as CITRINE with its own metaphysical energies and perfectly acceptable to use. There is no need to reject Citrine as not "natural" - after all, it was grown in the Earth originally as Amethyst and then heated to bring out a golden color, which was already there. This is exactly how Ametrine is created in the Earth, it is a combination of purple and gold quartz where the purple turned into gold based on heat.
Now that being said, I also just love Natural Citrine which is really in fact a unique type of yellow quartz - which is just quartz that has minerals in it that make it look golden. That yellow quartz is often called "Natural Citrine" because it is quartz that has not been heat treated. This type of Citrine is quite rare and thus very expensive per gram. And just like Amethyst, it is a member of the Quartz family but a different color.
In the world of gems and minerals, there is a lot of confusion about names, and some things have 2 or 3 common names. One thing you will find (on eBay and elsewhere) is a lot of so-called "Citrine" or even "Smoky Quartz" from Asia which shows up in impossibly huge points and generators. Virtually all of it is fake, just lab-colored quartz or mostly glass. Most natural Citrine is considered more rare and comes from Brazil, the United States, Africa, or areas where high-quality golden quartz is found - and it is considerably more expensive than the Citrine generated from Amethyst, which is plentiful and is found in many countries besides Brazil, Uruguay, and Bolivia. So if you see so-called "natural" Citrine which is "cheap", rest assured that it is probably a cheap imitation as well. It takes practice and experience to spot them and I can usually tell after more than 25 years of work. I hope this helps explain our complicated world....remember...it's all good!
