You are buying SIX (6) Small Assorted FIRE AGATE Semi-Rough Tumbled Stones that are from the same lot pictured and as described in Item Specifics below.

Small = Approx .25" - .50" long
Weight: About 10-15 gm each bag

This is a type of Fire Agate from Mexico that is primarily a warm, dark reddish brown color - with some translucency and some smooth matrix - some stones have swirling bands of lighter color. Hold them up to the light to really see the agate swirls. These stones are "semi-rough tumbled" which means that they have more natural indentations and rough spots but for the most part they have a shiny tumbled surface which brings out the natural beauty of the stone.

You will receive 6 different stones with different dark coloring and pattern. While they do not have a specific "fire" spot as in the extremely expensive and rare gem-quality Fire Agates, these are very warm and pretty basic stones and are indeed real Fire Agates.

Found in the Southwest United States and northern Mexico, Fire Agate has been traditionally used by Native Americans. You will find these Fire Agates to have a naturally undulating shape, they are all natural and have not been overly cut or tumbled so you can see the natural shape and some areas where the rough is not tumbled out (otherwise the stone would become too small to use). This is a great size to use for wire wrap jewelry.
