You are buying the DEER CREEK FIRE AGATE ROUGH Stone that is pictured. It is not polished so I took the 3rd photograph slightly wet to show its dynamic color and pattern. You can achieve the same effect with a drop of lemon oil.

Size: Large: Approx 3.4" length x 2.5" width x 1.1" depth
Weight: 6.3 oz

Natural stones may vary slightly from stated size, weight, and color as shown. Picture color and clarity may vary due to different settings on monitors and mobile devices.

This is a wonderful specimen stone to enjoy as is, or you can use it for lapidary work.

When you want to "fire-up" your motivation, strength, endurance and courage then reach for Fire Agate! It is uncommonly strong against adversity and will stay the course with you on a difficult journey.

This is a very beautiful type of Fire Agate from Deer Creek Arizona that is primarily a very warm, cream, and dark reddish brown color - with some translucency ( once polished) - and some stones have swirling colored eyes or bands of orange and/or light blue. These stones are rough with matrix which means that they have more natural indentations and rough spots. They are ready to be polished which brings out the natural beauty of the stone. While they do not have a specific "fire" spot as in the extremely expensive and rare gem-quality Fire Agates, these are very warm and beautiful and are indeed real Fire Agates. Found in the Southwest Mountains of Safford Arizona. Deer Creek Fire Agate is one of the top sought after stones for lapidary work.

Fire Agate has been traditionally used by Native Americans as jewelry.
