1 Jumbo AMMONITE FOSSIL Rustic White Whole Shell Nautilus Shell Specimen #F8 1 Jumbo AMMONITE FOSSIL Rustic White Whole Shell Nautilus Shell Specimen #F8
You are buying ONE (1) Rustic White Ammonite Whole Shell Fossil that is from the lot pictured. (There is a secondary picture with a representative group of them). You will receive one Ammonite fossil. These are untreated, rustic, rough fossils from Madagascar and are not "prettied" up in any way, just left natural. They are one of a kind each. So fascinating to see the infinite variation of Mother Nature! They can be left "au natural" as is, or you can paint them in your favorite color or finish to match any design or craft, including antique finishes.

Size: Approx 2.8" width each
Color: Natural "white" earth tone - white, ivory, brown, tan, pinkish, sand

These are also known as "tractor" Ammonites because the outside edge is deeply scalloped like a tractor tire. These are fossilized into a hard rock type material so they are quite sturdy.

Please note these ARE NOT DRILLED although you can drill them yourself. (We do not offer drilling services).

They will look beautiful displayed on a desk, shelf or any space and are ideal for crafting.

These fossilized shells are a now extinct species of Cephalopod mollusk which lived in the oceans between 60 to 600 million years ago - some even older than the dinosaurs! Their modern ancestors include the octopus, squid, cuttlefish and nautilus.

Ammonite represents the infinite natural cycles of the Earth and Universe, and helps to remind us of our role in these cycles. It helps shift any negative energy into a more positive flowing spiral of energy, and is a powerful karmic cleanser as well. Wonderful for meditation and spiritual work, it will help you journey deep into your center.
