This is a lovely chatoyant, all natural bright gold and dark brown striped crystal stone from Africa. It comes in bold stripes or a softer, more swirled stripe pattern. It has been polished to a smooth, natural glossy finish with a slightly "rough" look that is consistent with natural Tiger's Eye (kind of like "fur."). Be sure to appreciate them in natural light and especially in sunlight where they will mesmerize you with their patterns and colors.

It is an excellent grounding stone and is frequently and successfully used as a prosperity stone, especially when paired with Pyrite. As the name suggests (Tiger's Eye) it is highly protective against dangers, accidents and psychic harm. This is a great stone to carry in one's car (along with Yellow Jasper) or put on your yoga mat.
